History of artificial turf fillings

Artificial turf originated in the United States 50 years ago. It was initially used in the football field, and was soon popularized and applied in other sports fields. PE (polyethylene) is the main material of the third generation of artificial turf, which is also the most commonly used silk material of football grass. And the emergence of PP+PE, PP+PA, PE+PA mixture, straight curvature mixed weaving, as well as different forms of monofilaments grass and other forms, grass silk soft, good wear resistance, moderate price, using quartz sand and rubber particles filled, in appearance and sports performance has been comparable to real grass.

The fourth generation of artificial turf is a change based on the traditional lawn, which refers to the combination of "non-filling football grass + shock cushion". This is the fourth generation of artificial turf concept first proposed by VIVATURF worldwide.

The so-called fourth generation of artificial turf, is to abandon the "quartz sand + rubber particles" as the filler, and the way of "free filling football grass + shock cushion" to achieve the movement and protection of artificial turf. At the present stage of the artificial turf market, the fourth generation of artificial grass is closer to the real grass in terms of touch, movement, fall, sliding resistance and ball rolling feedback.
